The Phoenix system will determine a defect in the membrane filters during it's automatically performed membrane integrity test.

In order to the detect and repair the damaged membrane fiber within the filter, you will need to do the following:

1. Make sure that the module is deaerated and that there is no more air in the module left.
2. Disassemble the module head and fix it like you see in the attached picture
3. Fill the upper part with water
4. Apply pressurized air on the filtrate side of the module - you can do this with any oil-free air-compressor.
5. Look where / if bubbles come out permanently.

If bubbles come out, every single damaged fibre needs to be marked and repaired, like it is explained in Seccua's repair kit instructions.

Make sure that when you re-assemble the module end-caps onto the module again to use an M8-torque allen key and the proper torque is applied. Re-check the torque after a couple of days of operation of the unit.
